You asked for it; and we've delivered! I'll explain what it is and why we did it in the paragraphs below. First, be aware of 2 things: 1) everything will work just fine as it is; and 2) some pages dealing with attendance will look different and have some added columns.

So, back to the what . You now have the ability to assign multiple schedules to the same organization which means you can have more than one meeting on the same day or within the same week. Furthermore, you can specify how a member's attendance percentage is to be calculated for each of the schedules.

And now the why . Here are 2 (among many) very good use cases for needing this feature:

In the case of the Choir, in order to have 100% attendance, a member should attend every Sunday's Worship at 9:30 AM (that Schedule should have an Attendance Credit of Every Meeting ); and they should attend one of the rehearsal meetings (those schedules should each have an Attendance Credit of Once/Week Group 2 ). By creating 3 Schedules and using the 2 types of Attendance Credits, a person's attendance in the Choir will be calculated based on what is expected. Also, this allows the Choir to use the automated check-in feature of BVCMS.

In the case of the children's class, in order to have 100% attendance, a member should attend at one hour each Sunday. The class would have 3 Schedules (one for each hour they meet) and each of them should have an Attendance Credit of Once/Week Group 2 . This also works with automated check-in.

We'll add more information on the wiki later giving instructions on exactly how to use this new Schedule feature. We will also explain about the other added attendance tracking features.
