I know that a lot of you use BVCMS to find people in your ministry who have upcoming birthdays so that you can send an email, a card, or give them a call. However, have you thought about doing the same for a Baptism anniversary ? Judy does this at her church and we thought it was a nice idea.

To help her do this, we have recently added the Baptism Date to the Other Church Report . By running this report and using a bit of Excel magic , you can identify everyone who was baptized during a specific month. Then you could acknowledge the upcoming anniversary of their baptism with a note. You could do this for those in your ministry every year. Or you might want to create a query just for everyone who was baptized during the previous year in order to encourage them by acknowledging the 1 year anniversary of their baptism. Read more
