Have you ever wanted to email everyone in your class…except the teacher and his wife, because you want to plan a surprise for them? Or perhaps, you needed to send letters to everyone in a search results…except a few people. The way to do that was always to first create a new tag, run your search (or go to the organization) and then tag everyone. Then you could remove those you did not want to include.
This process just got easier! If you click Tag > Add All from the green Toolbar - whether you are already on the Members page of an Organization or in Search Builder - you will see a new popup dialog box . This will display the name of the tag that is currently active and give you three options :
1. You can make a totally new tag . Just type over the text in the name field with the name you want for this new tag and then click OK . This action takes you to the Manage Tags page where you can easily remove those you do not want to include and send your email, print labels, etc.
2. You can click C lear Tag First and replace everyone in your active Tag with the current list of people you just tagged, keeping the name of the tag the same . This action takes you to the Manage Tags page where you can remove people as needed and then use the Toolbar to send your email, print labels, etc.
3. You can add those people to your currently active tag. Just click OK in the dialog box and leave the name of the tag as it is. This action will leave you on your current page , but those people you just tagged will be added to those currently in that tag. You can remove any that you do not want in the tag.
