Lay Leaders - The Church's Other Ministers
We all value those dedicated church members who teach, visit, make phone calls, send emails, greet guests, rock babies and communicate with their parents, and perform all those other tasks that keep the church going. They may not be ordained, but they certainly are ministers!
Our mission at BVCMS is to give both staff and lay leaders the best tools we can to enable them perform that ministry. In that light, we have put together a couple of new videos designed to help lay leaders understand more about how to use BVCMS as they minister within the church. Lay Leader 101 is a basic introduction to show BVCMS lay leaders some of the ways they can use BVCMS to manage and minister to their class.
Lay Leader 201 goes deeper and provides more tips for performing inreach and outreach for their class.
