In a  previous post (back in July), we let you know about a new feature - using Bootstrap for online registrations. Well, now we are preparing to make Bootstrap the default for all online registrations.

When will this happen? We are planning to make this the norm for registrations at the end of January, 2015 . This gives you and your designer time to reformat your shells to use Bootstrap. We have a help article that contains a sample to get your started.

Why are we doing this? Bootstrap has a cleaner look and is a more mobile-friendly way to present your registration form. In other words, someone using their phone or iPad to register for an event will have a much better experience if Bootstrap is used to present the registration form, because it will fit on their mobile device.

What does this mean to you? This means that any old shells that you might have for registrations will need to be changed to the new Bootstrap format. The old shells will no longer be used.

What happens if I don't do anything?  Your registration will work and will look cleaner and more friendly on a mobile device. It will use a simple, unadorned default Bootstrap shell. However, you will probably want to create a default Bootstrap shell with your church's logo.
