Single Email Address Feature

Our normal method of sending emails via TouchPoint is to send to individual people, not to just an email address. However, there are some special instances in which you are sending an email, you know that there are multiple people in your recipient list that have the same email address, but you only want one email sent to each email address. If that is the case, and if you are sending an email that is not specific for the individual, you may want to take advantage of this new feature.

For example: You have a search for children in multiple organizations, and most of them use their parent's email address. If you have more than one child in a family, the email will be sent to each of them. Using the new feature, you can send just one email per address.

You will find this option in the blue Toolbar, under the envelope icon. The new selection is named "Single Email Addresses".

Caution: Do not use email replacement codes in your emails if you are using this option, not even {track}. These are dependent on email being sent to an individual, not merely to an address.
