Tip: Make Reusable Coupons Expire
Coupons in TouchPoint are a great way to allow a person to pay with cash or check and still register online. However, another use it to give certain people a partial discount
or a coupon for the full amount
. If the discount is going to be given to multiple people, perhaps as an incentive to register early, you will want to create a Reusable Coupon
and email that Coupon Code to them.
If you are using the Coupon as an incentive to register early, how do you make the Coupon expire? It's really very simple - at the time you want the Coupon to expire, go to the Coupon List , use the filters to find that specific Coupon, and then click the Cancel button. Yep, that's all you have to do. After that, if someone tries to use the Coupon, they will see the message "Coupon Cancelled".
