We have several clients that use TouchPoint for a ministry which is not a church per se. These would be considered para-church organizations. Therefore, there is no need for the membership information on the Profile tab of the people record and it might be confusing for My Data users. So, we have added a new option that allows you to prevent a My Data user from even seeing that tab.

When this Setting - HideMemberStatusFromMyData - is added to the database and set as true, My Data users will not see the Profile tab. This is the tab where we store membership information,
