Two New Homepage Widgets

Mike.Smith • May 14, 2020

This week we have introduced two new homepage widgets.

The Vital Stats widget offers a highly flexible listing of counts for people groups in your database by employing status flags and/or saved searches that define the groups. The purpose of this widget is to give an up-to-date, at-a-glance view of the people in your database. You decide what stats you want to see. For example, you might have searches or status flags for active members and inactive members, giving members and non-giving members. The possibilities are endless. For information about configuring the Vital Stats widget, read here.

The Giving Sources widget displays a pie chart showing, for a specified fund or list of funds, what percentage comes from mobile giving, one-time online giving, recurring giving, or all other sources. You control the time period for the chart. You can also easily create multiple instances of the widget to display information about various funds. For help setting up one of more Giving Sources widgets, read here.

Don’t forget! There is still time to enter your submission in our two widget competitions:

  1. Best Widget Idea – submit your idea here by May 22nd to be voted on at the May New Features Webinar. The winner will have their widget created.
  2. Best Widget Created – submit a widget that you create here by June 19th for the chance to win a free registration to the 2020 TouchPoint Summit. Winner will be announced on the June New Features Webinar.
