We have recently added a few more fields that can be updated (by your System Admin ) using the batch process Update for a Tag . This process is not something you would ever do without a lot of forethought! Primarily, churches that are new to BVCMS and need to update information for a number of records use this feature. However, it can also be used to help clean up data for any church.

A couple of the newer fields that can be updated relate to the Volunteer tab on a person's record . These are Approval Codes , Background Check Date , and Volunteer Status . Churches who have been keeping this information off-line (that is, not in BVCMS) can easily update these fields for a lot of records at the same time.
