Recurring Pledges

With recurring pledges you can empower your donors to automatically renew their pledges. For example, a donor could set up a $1,000 pledge that is renewed each month. If the pledge fund is configured to allow an end date, the donor can specify when the recurring pledge ends. Otherwise it continues renewing until the donor cancels it.

To support this new feature, two new email templates have been added to your database, available at Administration > Special Content > Email Templates:

  • Recurring Pledge Setup - the email confirming the creation of a recurring pledge
  • Recurring Pledge Cancellation - the email confirmation cancellation of a recurring pledge
