Recent Visitors to a Division-SQL Recipe
TouchPoint is all about ministry to people. So, when we add reports it is usually to help you do your ministry better. This report falls into that category. It is a SQL recipe that you can copy and paste into your database. You will specify a Division when you run the report. All recent guests (new and repeat guests and visiting members) will be listed, with a link to the person's record as well as to the Organization. The report below is sorted by the Organization, but you can choose to sort by the name if you prefer. The report shows the date the person last visited that Organization and the number of visits during the time period referenced in the script.
Use Case:
A minister that is responsible for the Young Married Division in the church's Life Groups Program wants to see all the people that have visited any Org in that Division in the past 90 days. He could run a search in Search Builder to find these of course. And if you are going to send an email that is exactly what you will want to do. However, if you want to analyze the Division based on its guests, this report is very helpful. Plus, it is interactive and contains the information you need about the person's visit.
There are links to the individuals so you can easily work from this report to make Task assignments so the person receives a Contact from the church. Remember - turn on that toggle to Open Person in New Tab and you can move back and forth from the report to an individual and not lose the report.
